Planning Skills - Town Centre Regeneration with Dumfries and Galloway Council
There is recognition within National Planning Framework 4 position statement of the significant challenges town and city centres face, particularly in relation to changes to the retail sector, the growth of out of town and online retail, and COVID-19. This has be reinforced in the recent publication of "A New Future for Scotland's Town Centres". This webinar looks at the approaches that Dumfries and Galloway Council have taken including; community led work with the Midsteeple Masterplan, and their towncentre living fund.
