Community & Spatial Planning - Aligning Policies in North Ayrshire
Neale McIlvanney& Morna Rae of North Ayrshire Council, in association with Planning Skills and the Community Planning Support website , presented a Webinar looking at how North Ayrshire Council are ensuring Local Development Plan (LDP) policies are aligned with Community Planning Local Outcome Improvement Plan (LOIP) priorities.
Neale & Morna presented on North Ayrshires actions including :
- ensuring Value Added from aligning agendas
- using colour & graphics to increase the useability of plans for local people
- a focus on the local priorities for different areas
- helpful factors and challenges affecting the process.
Participants from across Scotland logged in - questions included how to engage hard to reach groups & monitoring of the process.
